The Byrd Collective :: The Cream

In case you’ve lost track of the date, The Cream is right around the corner, and we’ve been quite the busy birds preparing for it! The much anticipated wedding event will be in Austin on January 22nd, and we (The Byrd Collective) couldn’t be more excited to be part of the carefully curated crop. Though concepting our design was a bit of a challenge at first, we knew we wanted the flowers to be subtle and beautiful, while still showing off a bit of our wild aesthetic. Now that we’ve finalized the look, we’re thrilled to share an exclusive sneak peak with all of you. Keep reading for the inspiration behind our arrangements, as well as some more of the stunning images shot by Mike Bullock.

We always want to incorporate our favorite neutral (but still fabulous) blooms… like peonies, garden roses and mint. The amber and brown containers are the perfect contrast to the soft colors we’re using in the arrangements, while the combination of glass and metal pieces keeps things interesting.
