One of the privileges (or is it perils?) of my job is that I’m constantly surrounded by the most incredible food and the talented people who make it. Since I’m currently in the thick of planning for a major Thanksgiving project, I had an excuse to meet with the mom & daughter team behind Tiny Pies the other day, and, just as I’d hoped, they brought along a few little treats so I could taste for myself…

The gals’ signature tiny pies are “just like grandma used to make…only much, much smaller.” I think my favorite was the pumpkin…or the dutch apple…or was it the strawberry-rhubarb served cleverly in a diminutive mason jar? I loved ’em all, especially served warm from the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream melting on top. Can’t wait to show you how Tiny Pies makes a clever appearance in our upcoming Thanksgiving shoot…there just might be a fab holiday DIY in store!
