Can you believe February is almost over? With the days zipping by, I (Claire) am finding my Spring to-do list growing exponentially, but I’m hoping that this next project will serve as a visual distraction. Those closest to me know that I’m a neutral girl with a love of gray, white and tan, but every so often I get a craving for a delicious pop of color. So, what better place to get a bright jolt than on my interior doors? Now that I’ve begun searching for inspiration, I’m so excited to create my own door decor, but first I’d love to hear from all of you: Which of these painted doors would you like to see interpreted and recreated? Pitch in your thoughts and ideas, and stay tuned for the reveal in two weeks!

i would definitely do the solid, bold color over the patterns…personally, i think i would tire of the stripes quicker than the solid. But a bold color wold be fabulous!

I love the first image with the black and white pattern. And of course I love neon!

The first one gets my vote! Though I feel it could only be applied to a flat door, I love its unexpected graphic nature.

Go for the bright/neon bold door in one solid color! Or, go for the first image but you could play with the lines or color. Can’t wait to see what you go with.

I’d go with #1. What kind of floors do you have? I’m curious how it’ll look against a different floor.

LOVE all of these! Might be leaning slightly more towards the first one, it’s so unique!

    Hi Claire,

I love them all, nice idea! I think the middle one would probably be amazing, but difficult to live with indoors, so I’d go for #1, perhaps with a drop of yellow thrown in?

Torn between 1 and 3…maybe a combo with the design of 1 with hot pink neon paint in place of black? Now I want that imaginary door on my house. Can’t wait to see what you make : )

Why don’t you use the right source to the first picture? The source you refer to refers to it. Link with love, plz. http://tamalikainenparketti.blogspot.se/2010/09/teippileikki.html
