Did everyone have a fun & festive July 4th weekend? I definitely enjoyed some much-needed time to unplug and soak up some major sunshine. I think the most strenuous activity I did was getting dressed to go to a friend’s backyard barbecue! Today I’m back in the office and churning through stacks of emails, but thought I’d share a little moment of summer escapism from the weekend. These peach margaritas were the perfect poolside refresher, and made the most of my absolute favorite in-season fruit. Juicy peaches puréed with a touch of agave nectar were such a delicious and pretty add-in to frozen margaritas. Follow the jump for the recipe!

I paired the margaritas with homemade chips & guac for a perfect pre-dinner snack. To make the chips, cut fresh corn tortillas into triangles, spray with a touch of olive oil, sprinkle with garlic salt, and pop in a 400 degree oven until golden and crispy. YUM!

Peach Margaritas
1/2 cup silver tequila
Juice of 1 lime
1 1/2 oz peach schnapps
3 ripe peaches, peeled and pitted
agave nectar
Place 2 peaches and a little agave nectar in a blender. Blend until smooth. Slice the 3rd peach and set aside.
Fill the blender 3/4 of the way with ice. Add all of the ingredients except 4 slices of peach. Blend together and garnish with slice of peach.
Yum! Looks like the perfect summer combo! Can’t wait to try it out!
So having this tonight! Thank you! Love this blog!
