What’s New for July :: Travel

No matter the time of year, travel is always a hot topic around the Camille Styles headquarters — we all huddled behind Camille’s computer monitor on her first day back in the office to see all the photos from her recent trip to St. Tropez, and we have lived vicariously through Chanel’s summer jaunts to Israel and London. I am often musing with our art director Jennifer Rose Smith about all the destinations we hope to make it to in the future (it won’t be long until Jenn is romping through the streets of San Miguel Allende and I won’t stop of day dreaming about a return trip to my favorite place on the planet, Big Sur). So with summer in full swing, we decided to devote the month of July to all of our shared passion — travel!

For next installment of Office Style, we head to the Hotel San Jose (pictured above) where three ladies working behind the scenes will share secrets to their all around effortlessly cool way of dressing. We are all big fans of photographer Jackie Lee Young (have you seen her awe-inspiring Instagram), the Hotel’s lounge manager, who will be one of our featured interviews.

We were thrilled to hear from you about how much you loved last month’s new series, Dream Job, and what could be a dreamier way to work than as a jet setting travel writer, so we sat down with Travel + Leisure alum turned Austin-based freelance writer, Stirling Kelso, to hear all about the perks and how she landed this dream gig! She will also share tips on how to pack light for the journey (a few of her travel essentials pictured above).

All you DIY fans out there…have no fear! We will be rolling out new guest post DIYs from some of our favorite creatives. First up is ultra hip woodworking lady, Kelly DeWitt. She (pictured above) designs and builds furniture and other pieces we love (like these amazing planters) and for her guest post, Kelly will share how to make a wooden pennant banner.

We can’t wait to share all the travel inspiration this month has in store for you, our dear reader. Bon Voyage, my friends!
