Chocolate Peppermint  Snowball Cookies

1. Cream together butter and sugar. Add both extracts and egg, then beat until well mixed.

2. Sprinkle over top flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Mix until just combined.

3. Refrigerate until hard. Then form dough into balls and roll into powdered sugar.

4. Place 1 chocolate disc in center of each cookie, pushing down slightly.

5. Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees F. Remove from oven, and sprinkle immediately with crushed peppermint.

6. Let cool on a wire baking rack, then enjoy!
