Ingredients
- 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 3 tablespoons tahini
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic
- big pinch of salt
- garnishes (optional): pickled red onion, sliced fresno chile, black beans, green onions
Instructions
- Combine everything (except garnishes) in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Add a little water if needed to thin, and season with salt to taste. Garnish with toppings of your choice, and serve with sweet potato fries, tortilla chips, or raw veggies. Eat!
Spicy Cilantro Hummus
Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 bunch of cilantro, leaves and stems
- 1/2 jalapeno, seeds and ribs removed
- 1 small or 1/2 large avocado, peeled and pit removed
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- big pinch of salt
- garnishes (optional): jalapeno, cilantro, lime wedges, sprinkle of chili powder
Instructions
- Combine everything (except garnishes) in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Add additional water if needed to thin, and season with salt to taste. Garnish with toppings of your choice, and serve with sweet potato fries, tortilla chips, or raw veggies. Eat!
