The business of food…and cocktails in Austin has become just as serious as the music scene we have long been known for. The city has much more to offer than tasty tacos and a couple of Lonestars (although those will always have a reverent place in the Live Music Capital). We have assembled a guide to the most delicious and refreshing cocktails in the city. Look for our Austin Restaurant Guide of our team’s favorite picks on Monday. Cheers!

so many of these look fantastic, but the Avant-Gardener really caught my eye. anything with thyme in a champagne coupe is ok by me 🙂
Really like this list and the pics, but you repeated bars three times. Some other good ones I think: Midnight Cowboy – The Prizefighter (off-menu right now but can still be ordered); 2nd Bar – Gin + Jam (perfectly simple – Try the pear-cardamom jam right now)
Great ideas! Thanks for sharing.
Peche & Whistler are also great choices for original artisan cocktails in town!
I remember trying this cocktail Alma Blanca, Passionfruit + Mango Spiced Margarita, the El Cubico at La Condesa and it was PHENOMENAL!!! Great selection Camille and Happy SXSW!!!!
I love a great cocktail, and Austin is such a cool town. Thank you for sharing this!
All these cocktails look so tempting! Great collection!
