I love the feeling of waking up on New Year’s Day, full of renewed energy and hope for what lies ahead… and then, of course, promptly sitting down to one very delicious brunch. There really is no better way to kick off a brand new year than with good food and a toast or two with old friends. Although the new year is often a time to cleanse and eat healthily after all of the cookies, candies and cocktails that the month of December brings, brunch on New Year’s Day is the final festive send-off to the holiday season.
