Fine Print :: Folkloric Gift Tags

printable holiday gift tags and stickers | avalon mckenzie for camille styles

Have any of you gotten started on your holiday gift wrapping? Each year we get giddy just thinking of the different packaging possibilities, and this holiday season we thought we’d reach out to one of our favorite creative ladies to help us lock down our gift wrapping concepts. Avalon Mckenzie, blogger and graphic designer at Free People, created these gorgeous downloadable gift tags that are all yours for the printing… and best of all, it’s the first batch of two that she’ll be whipping up for us. Print onto card stock paper or full sheet labels, cut out, and use to adorn your gifts to loved ones. Keep reading for a word from Avalon on her inspiration, plus the link to download!

“I was inspired to draw the florals after looking at swedish textiles. I love the bold shapes in Scandinavian patterns, and I thought it would be a fun way to bring some whimsy to holiday packaging — I especially think these would look great on kraft paper wrapping. What I love most about the holidays is snuggling to watch good movies and enjoying cherry pie, which has been a family tradition of ours my whole life. I tend to think that the anticipation of Christmas Eve tops Christmas Day.”

Squee! Love, love, love these, especially the ‘you’re my favorite’ tags. I say this to my nearest and dearest all the time… they’ll get a kick out of a gift tagged with one of my favorite sayings. Thanks for the download!

Avalon, these are great! I think these would be so cute on a gift with a wooden ornament attached. I love the wood-sy, Nordic vibe!
