It’s not often that I find time to kick back and relax, but when I do, I like to do it right. Because my charming little home boasts a proportionately tiny living room, I opt not to have a coffee table — which makes for a terrific space-saver, but in turn makes propping my feet up and lounging virtually impossible. My solution? A pouf! Though small in size, poufs can get pretty pricey, so thought this would be the perfect project to tackle myself. I’ve gathered images of some of the prettiest poufs I’ve found, and though I have to admit that I’m a bit intimidated by this project, I’m super excited to get started. So I’d love to hear from all of you: Which of these 4 inspirational images would you like to see me make into my perfect pouf? Pitch in your thoughts and ideas, and stay tuned for the reveal in two weeks!

I love the first one- I think it would function a little better as a “coffee table” than some of the others.
isn’t it great? I also love the neutral color of it.
I love the metallic ones! Can’t wait for this DIY. I always want to buy a pouf but they tend to be kind of pricey.
Thanks Katie! The metallic ones are a great pop of color.
What a great idea! I’m loving image 3, but 4 looks super cozy and soft. Tough choice!
xo,
Ashley
I know! I want to make them all
Metallic, please!
Thanks, Laura! I wonder where I could find fabric as fabulous as that..
I like #1&2. The second one wold be better for me..
Doesn’t the second one look so comfy?
The fourth, chunky knit ones! I want one of these for my soon-to-be baby’s nursery in June, but I don’t want to spend a lot of money. On any of the items. I didn’t even know you COULD diy these, I’d love to see how!
I’m sure there’s a way to DIY it!! I just wonder if I can figure out how….
Congratulations on the baby!
Check out Pickles’ webiste, they’ve got a whole selection of pouffe knitting instructions (Puff Daddy, Puff Mama, Puff Baby…and more) – all with different patterns. Super easy, I finished mine in less than 10hours.

So great! But I think the instructions aren’t in English?
I love 3 and 4! Either would be a really cool DIY.
Thanks! I am excited (and slightly nervous!) to begin this DIY….
Definitely four!
Cheers!
Thanks Britney!
The last one!
Thanks Laurel, it is definitely seeming like everyone’s favorite!
the last one looks the most fun although i love them all
Thanks, Kim!
I have been looking for an affordable Moroccan pouf for ages, so I would love to see a DIY for that one!
I wonder if stitching that sort of fabric would be difficult…
I love the knitted one, but that might be hard to finish in two weeks. I think the burlap one is presh!
I completely agree!! Have to remember the 2 week dead line
I love all of them, but I would love to see “The Nest” — #2 — because it’s unique and looks extra comfy!!
I wish I had one to lay on right now! Thanks, Hollis.
Leave it to me to get stuck in directions- I was thinking just 3 choices. So…. In view of correcting my way of thinking I lean or should I say lay toward two. Your godmother who has lounging down to a fine art!
I confess #4 did compete for my affection.
Indecisive just like me
The last one or the second one
Thanks Eric!
Claire, the 1st is the best. There is something chic and stylish about it. Maybe the fabric or possibly the oversized external seaming, but I love it. Pop a block slate of granite or chunky wood on the top and you’d have the perfect coffee table! What do you think?

The 1st definitely would fit best in my home. I love the way you described finishing it too! Thanks!
You can also make your own. Here is a link to a great DIY from Better Homes and Gardens. I made one myself and it was super easy!

Thanks, Catherine! I am going to attempt to make my own as well, but I think I am going to try to figure out the step by steps on my own….fingers crossed that I can!
Stay tuned for the final product..
No. 1 and No. 3, por favor!!
So great, aren’t they? Thanks!
No. 3 in metallic! I would want that in my new living room…
Thanks, T! Still need to come visit this living room of yours..
pouf 1 or pouf 2, for sure. can’t wait to see! xx
Thanks, I love both of those too!
I vote number 1.
I am pretty tempted by that one too….
I vote # 1 or # 3!! Super cute.
I’m really loving number 1!
#3 or 4!
Thanks, Ashley!
Number 2 is super cool.
Thanks, Chelsea! Now all I would have to do is learn how to knit!
If you’re really in need of a little coffee table, I’d say the metallic poof (add a tray and you’re good to go!), but that second, oversized sock image looks all-too-good to pass up on. Can’t wait!
Aren’t they all so wonderful? Decisions decisions….
2 or 4, obvs.
thanks!
1 or 4!
I love those two too!
I love the second one so much!!
me too! might have to save it for a later DIY until I learn to knit
Love #4! my roomies are crocheting machines if you need help.. haha
oh yah! tell them I need some lessons…
numner 1, number 1!!! It looks functional and comfortable!
I think that’s my favorite too!
I love #1. I think if you figure that one out, I can make it too!
I really love the pouf in the top image with the seaming. It feels very fresh and I haven’t seen one quite like it before.
