For holiday party outfits, I always find myself searching for that perfect balance of festive and cozy: when it’s freezing outside, I’m way too much of a baby to wear anything that reveals too much skin to the elements! A long-sleeved dress, opaque tights, and a cozy scarf provide lots of warmth, and when the dress is as graphic as this one, the look is guaranteed to be anything but overly buttoned-up. For the latest post in our Styld.by series with Gap, it was fun to play with a print that’s a little bolder than what I might usually wear, then pair it with other pieces from my wardrobe to turn it into a look that feels really “me.” Since the print adds such a surprising twist to a simple silhouette, I paired it with all-black accessories that let the florals really pop. I think the look will be a definite statement-maker at this year’s holiday parties, don’t you? Are y’all planning outfits for any holiday parties this year? I’d love to hear — how do you strike a balance of feeling festive while staying warm? Hope your holiday parties are full of fun, merriment, and excuses to dress up and feel festive!
