The business of food…and cocktails in Austin has become just as serious as the music scene we have long been known for. The city has much more to offer than tasty tacos and a couple of Lonestars (although those will always have a reverent place in the Live Music Capital).     so many of these look fantastic, but the Avant-Gardener really caught my eye. anything with thyme in a champagne coupe is ok by me 🙂

    Really like this list and the pics, but you repeated bars three times. Some other good ones I think: Midnight Cowboy – The Prizefighter (off-menu right now but can still be ordered); 2nd Bar – Gin + Jam (perfectly simple – Try the pear-cardamom jam right now)

    I remember trying this cocktail Alma Blanca, Passionfruit + Mango Spiced Margarita, the El Cubico at La Condesa and it was PHENOMENAL!!! Great selection Camille and Happy SXSW!!!!
