With my due date just five weeks away and all of my styling jobs wrapped, I’m starting to take it a little easier and enjoy these last few weeks while this little one is still in my belly. (From what I hear, a whole lot is about to change when she makes her debut!) I’ve found myself especially relishing the early mornings these days. Some times that means sleeping in a little later with Aaron and other days it’s me writing away on my laptop with a decaf latte in hand. On one Saturday morning a couple of weeks ago we picked up pastries and coffees and hopped back in bed for another hour and I thought to myself, why don’t we do this more often? With the exception of a few crumbs in the sheets, a lazy Saturday morning with breakfast in bed is pretty close to perfection.
While I have enjoyed the last few months of dressing with this bump turned basketball, these cotton voile pajamas from Plum Pretty Sugar’s collaboration with BHLDN are hard to beat. Aren’t they beautiful?! This coffeepot and coordinating cup and saucer are from Kate Spade’s Larabee Road china collection and, thanks to the California sunshine, these garden roses are straight from our backyard.
Since this will be my final pre-baby style post, any mom’s out there have suggestions for how I should be spending these last few weeks? I feel like I need to be soaking in every minute! Also, any essentials that you would recommend packing for the hospital? So many of the lists out there seem a little over the top!
Thank you so much for following along with this series always, but especially over these last eight months. Your comments and well wishes have meant so much to me and have been such a great encouragement! I’ll be back before you know it and, who knows, maybe baby girl will make it into a style post one of these days!
