Remember this time last year when neon was all the rage?  Well, it’s time to trade in those bright Cambridge satchels for something a little softer.  Pastels were seen floating down the spring runways of BurberryJason Wu, and Prabal Gurung, and just because spring hasn’t yet sprung, doesn’t mean you can’t begin incorporating them into your wardrobe now.  A mint hued cashmere sweater, a blush pink over coat or a lilac knit beanie are all perfect late winter additions to your look.

I may not be wearing runway these days (or most days, let’s be honest!), but the spring collection from Isabella Oliver caught my roaming pregnant eye and I couldn’t resist this slouchy pale pink top and mint cardigan.  The perfect pastels for a bump that is definitely getting large—just seven more weeks until her due date!

This color palette is also quite appropriate for this week’s holiday.  What are all of you doing on Friday? Girl’s night?  Fancy dinner date?  Boycotting it all together?  This is the first Valentine’s Day since Aaron and I started dating that we will actually both be in the same city and we’re going to spend it with some of our favorite friends and boxes of the most delicious takeaway pizza in the city. Perfection!
