Weekend Notes

By Camille Styles
classic madeleines

classic madeleinesI woke up early this morning (despite “gaining an hour” for daylight savings), so I brewed a cup of chai, dragged my laptop to the living room couch, and lit the first fire of the season. It feels like heaven to luxuriate in the comforts of home after being away all week, first in NYC for my book launch last Tuesday, and then in Houston for yesterday’s signing. It’s been a wonderful whirlwind so far, and I couldn’t be more thankful for all of you who came out to the events, or ordered your book from Amazon, or shared your kind words of excitement on Instagram. It’s made this week one of the most unforgettable ever! I’m gearing up for a few more city stops this month and can’t wait to meet lots more of you guys. But before the busyness kicks in again, I’m going to savor a Sunday of grocery shopping for the week ahead, catching up on some reading, and curling up in front of a movie with Phoebe and a big bowl of popcorn. Happy weekend, and enjoy a few of my favorite links from around web!
