Do y’all choose your jewelry based on the outfit… or do you ever fall so in love with a sparkly gem or bauble that you actually plan your entire ensemble just so you can wear it? That was the challenge that my friends at JewelMint proposed to me, and since I’ll be attending a series of holiday parties this month, I decided to multitask and use it as a chance to pick out my entire outfits for each one (and Chelsea was there to capture it all with her lens.) But first: are you guys acquainted with JewelMint? If not, you need to be. It’s a members-only site with the prettiest mix of vintage, sparkly and edgy jewelry to fit just about any personal style – and after taking a fun little quiz, their experts recommend the perfect pieces for you. Hop on over to become a member (and get two items for the price of 1!), and keep reading to see the outfits that I put together (with help from the fashionistas at By George) for 3 holiday soirées that call for completely different looks.

Here’s my dream outfit for holiday cocktails with the girls – this is the perfect time of year to up your game and dress up a little more than you normally would! A silky, feminine dress is a great investment piece (this one could be worn for so many different occasions!) and I felt so glam in a cozy , furry collar.

The entire look was styled around these Jewelmint “Hombre” Earrings. Colorful and sparkly, they’re a statement piece that instantly make an outfit feel party-worthy.

I paired the entire look with my go-to ShoeMint heels, which are as chic with a pair of jeans as they are with a cocktail dress.

Next up? The perfect look for a swanky new year’s fête. This is one night when a standout ensemble is a must – and this drapey, asymmetrical dress definitely fits the bill. I love how it’s covered in twinkly stars that are a subtle nod to the current celestial trend.

The look was inspired by these sculptural JewelMint “Grapevine” Earrings, which I can’t seem to stop wearing with every single outfit I put on lately.

Casual get-together’s on your holiday calendar? The perfect pair of skinnies, soft drapey tee and flat boots are my usual go-to’s, and I love how this ladylike jacket adds structure to the more laid-back pieces.

Levi’s Made & Crafted Waxed Denim Skinnies. Una Johnson Yves Bouclé Jacket. Rag & Bone Basic Brando Tee. Swildens Hyphen Round Toe Boot. Cambria Jessica Bison Clutch. Linea Pelle Skinny Stud Belt.  (All available at By George.)

The JewelMint “Mad World” Necklace is perfect for dressing up casual looks – I love how pairing sparkly baubles with a tee shirt is unexpected, and instantly looks like a little more effort was put into the look.

And this Jewelmint “Gem Bouquet” Ring is feminine and vintage-y – a total statement piece that’s not SO big it gets in the way of all the holiday baking, shopping and gift-exchanging you’re sure to be doing this season!
