Even though temperatures in Austin will be rising up in to the 90s (and I am almost eight months pregnant), I can’t wait for summer…and we are all particularly looking forward to this month’s editorial lineup that will officially kick off this new season!
This week’s posts will start June off with a bang, as we invite you to join us at three unique gatherings—a desert romance-inspired bridal shower with BHLDN (sneak peak pictured above), a grilling lesson in a magical garden with Chef Brandon Fuller of Cafe Josie and Cambria Wines (below) and an installment of our Entertaining With series with the cute couple behind The Wellgro Co. where mouth-watering paella will be served. And that’s just the lineup for this week alone…
Our beloved columnist Jen Pinkston (My Life, Styled) will make her stylish return after maternity leave, and our team will be road tripping to Havana…well, kind of, the Hotel Havana in San Antonio for our second Kate Spade soiree (you have to see our Rio Pool Party if you missed it this month).
I also can’t wait to share a new series with you—Dream Job will take you behind-the-scenes as we interview the most fascinating creative gals around about how they landed their gig, advice for people starting their careers and where they find inspiration. We will launch the series this month with one of our favorite publication’s (Garden & Gun) senior editor, Jessica Mischner. Her inspiration board is pictured above. Happy summer!
