This has to be my favorite idea for a Halloween party yet! I am a huge fan of Alfred Hitchcock, so any event that brings his work into play, is a winner in my book. Love how all the details and decor came together. Nice work, ladies!
Thanks so much, Liz! I adore Alfred Hitchcock movies, too. Both for the suspense and the amazing style. Vertigo and Rear Window are two of my other favorites.
Rear Window is by far my favorite! Love Jimmy Stewart and Grace Kelly in that one and how Hitchcock created stories of life (and murder) happening through a rear window. Vertigo and Dial M for Murder aren’t far behind:)
i am just OBSESSED with this! that movie completely creeps me out (i actually have never seen it…) but know enough about it and alfred hitchcock that i think this was SUCH a perfect inspiration/theme for being spooky-chic! love the photobooth idea. so fun!
Thanks for the amazing ideas Jenifer! While I try and experiment with new decorative ideas every year, I just can’t get enough of the lanterns. This year I am thinking of making one with orange peels. Hope it works!
This is the best idea for a halloween party ever!
Thank you, Kathryn! We had such a blast with this one.
This is so fun! Such a perfectly classy and fun way to celebrate Halloween!
Thanks, Leigh!
I adore that table with the birds perched above it. So great!

We couldn’t have done it without you, Ash! We are so thankful you are on the mend!!! Beautiful work, as always.

Yes – her wardrobe is to die for in Rear Window! I’m really excited about this new movie coming out, too: http://joannagoddard.blogspot.com/2012/10/hitchcock-movie.html

Thanks, Monica! Yes, beware of the movie if the idea creeps you out… you’ll never look at a flock of birds in a tree the same way again. Very scary!!!
Fabulous! A fantastic idea for a Halloween party!
Ada

I know. So creepy! I first saw it in junior high. It really stays with you!
The best Halloween Party idea I have ever seen! I love that photo-booth with the bird background!
Wow! Thank you so much, Danielle! We may be doing a DIY that shows exactly how we did the background sometime in the next week, so stay tuned…
