Editors’ Essentials :: Camille

August 26th, 2013

Anyone else get a major thrill from figuratively peeking inside handbags, closets and desk drawers to see what other (preferably stylish & creative) people consider obsession-worthy? Thanks to my voyeuristic tendencies, we’re launching an all-new series that does just that, and each season we’ll be getting the lowdown on the cool stuff and unexpected items that our team of editors call must-have’s. I’ll be kicking it off, so without further ado, here are the items I currently can’t live without!

Great idea, Camille! I love getting those sneak peaks into the lives of my favorites bloggers (and it’s a great way to draw some new inspiration). Can’t wait to see what the other editors have to share in their future!

  2. What a great new series! I love Le Pens. I only recently was introduced to them and now I think I need them in every color! And I’m going to have to try the apertif and frozen peaches. Sounds absolutely divine.

Luci’s Morsels – fashion. food. frivolity.

  3. Yay, so excited for this series!! I go through so much Lillet it’s a little embarrassing (I’m a sucker for Vespers). Keep it coming :)

Since, we don’t have a Bevmo in Austin where are you purchasing the bottle of Lillet from? It sounds like a drink I would enjoy!
PS: Jealous of your trip to St. Tropez. What a great destination to celebrate as you know the champagne will def be flowing there!

  5. Yayyyy this sounds like a fun series. Like you I have a list of my must haves and obsessions, you aren’t alone. I am on a ginger kick right now.

  6. I have to try the CC Cream! It looks like something that would be perfect for traveling – an all in one product! Thanks!

I was introduced to Lillet during the heatwave of 2011 and became hooked. I am known as the Lillet Lady at our local liquor store and buy it by the case! I like it to pour it over a slice of orange and crushed ice and top it with a little Topo Chico.

  8. Love everything on your list! A glass of wine after work sounds good to me right about now… Cheers!

Love this new series! Super fun.

  10. My new favorite feature, Camille! I’m just like you: getting a sneak peek into the lives (drawers, handbags, closets…everything, really :) is so much fun, and a great source of inspiration. I love all your picks, I’m off to hunt down the Lillet wine, and I can’t wait to see and hear all about your St. Tropez adventure!

  11. What a great, new series! Totally agree about the Le Pens and Lillet and ginger! Ginger is so great in a green drink or even a little bit to add intrigue to a tomato sauce.

  12. Adore this new series, Camille! I agree – Gweneth’s cookbook is brimming with way too many delicious recipes that I can never choose just one for that night. ;) (Um, I can only imagine how much you’re counting down for your trip next year — it will be beyond amazing!)

  13. Cara Crowley says:

Such great picks! I too, love Viburnam and I hope that Gwyneth keeps writing cookbooks, I can’t get enough. I love the vase that you use for your Viburnam, where did you get it or do you know where I could find one similar? Thanks :)

  14. Classiq says:

I think it’s time I added Gwyneth’s books to my cook books, I’ve heard too many good things about them. The Jennifer Zeuner bracelet is so delicate and beautiful and I’ve been trying ginger in so many recipes myself lately. A welcome new series, Camille!
