White, cream, beige, bone, flax. These are the colors I most often turn to when looking at tile. They’re neutral, elegant, and understated, and totally on trend at the moment… but maybe I’m playing it safe? Maybe I’m too afraid to embrace color and pattern and let a room really shine to its full potential? After a little research, I realized that some of the most beautiful rooms take a risk in one form or another, and today we’re looking at being risky with colorful, patterned, scene-stealing tiles. From bathrooms to living rooms to kitchens, these 10 spaces used tile floors to create more than just a room, but a place that delights, inspires, and looks anything but safe.
