This cold and wet January weather has me wishing for a pair of good rain boots and ever since I saw that pair of plum Hunters on pinterest I haven’t been able to get them out of my mind! Wouldn’t those look sharp with a camel coat and black leggings? This particular purple feels fresh and unexpected this winter — and pairs beautifully with gold and cream tones. If you think you’re not a “purple person”, this plum and gold wedding inspiration might have you thinking twice. Already on board with plum? Why not give your bedroom walls the royal treatment with this bold and handsome color?

I never think of wearing or decorating with plum but I will now! It will be a great punch of color to add to my cream guest room!
Wonderful, Kat! I’ll bet a plum accent pillow would look great in your guest room.
Those Hunters are killer!
Right? If it rains ONE more time this month I’ll consider that purchase justified.
Beautiful image colllection! The flowers, door and wellies are my fav!

Cool. Thank you, Sarah!
This plum is absolutely gorgeous! I would LOVE to have those rain boots!
I know. I actually don’t own any rain boots at all so I’m torn between the classic black and these. The plum is really fun!
Radiant Orchid (purple) is the PMS color for 2014.
Really? That’s awesome! Pantone knows what’s up. Thanks for sharing, hotpinksox!
