Good morning, lovelies! It’s been a bit of a hectic week and I’d been feeling a little harried (you know those times when, every time you have a spare moment, you find yourself obsessively going over your various to-do lists? That was me last week.) So I finally took some time yesterday afternoon to treat myself to a deep tissue massage that worked out all those stress knots, made a big yummy salad for dinner, watched a movie with Adam and went to bed early… and I woke up this morning feeling like a new woman. So often, we don’t take the time to pamper ourselves when we’re overworked and overwhelmed, but I really believe in the importance of having a few go-to stress relievers that you can draw upon when you need a boost; and the best part is that some of my favorite ones (a hot bath, a long walk) cost absolutely nothing! I’d love to hear how you pamper yourself when your body and spirit need a boost — leave a comment sharing your favorite ways, and enjoy these fab links from the week!

I couldn’t agree more with you on the importance on taking some “me” time. My favorite is attending a body flow class on Tuesday nights.
me time consists of lighting a bunch of candles and doing some yoga and stretching, and lots of deep breathing. I like to end it with meditating for a few minutes–it really helps me wind down after a tough day.
You have to constantly remind yourself to schedule this time in, or FORCE this time in, to maintain sanity and balance.
me time! I could not agree more! My vacation just started from work, in fact, I quit my job, it was more of a dread than something I enjoyed, where I had “0” me time. I have a little buffer, but I’m contemplating, going back to work in full swing, full time, semi-full time is more my speed.
Getting a good sweat session in at my local hot yoga studio to start my week off or simply any day of the week. This is my go to for a stress-free, feel good me time.
Self-pampering is an absolutely must.
