To-may-to, To-mah-to! If you haven’t guessed from the dozens of recipes popping up in your Pinterest feed, it’s officially tomato season. I love buying local produce when I can, and the farm fresh tomatoes spilling over grocery and farmer’s market shelves (in a mouthwatering array of colors) makes it pretty easy this time of year. When you catch them at the peak of season, almost nothing beats a plate of sliced tomatoes simply adorned with a drizzle of olive oil, a sprinkle of sea salt and a generous shower of ground black pepper. But there’s certainly nothing wrong with dressing them up, either, and depending on whether you’re a Caprese fan or Heirloom connoisseur, I bet your new favorite tomato recipe is destined to be found in this collection of 10 standout recipes. Click through to get inspired, and leave a comment letting us know your favorite way to prepare (and gobble up!) tomatoes this summer.
