A Valentine’s Day Dinner Party You Have to See to Believe

February 1st, 2017

For regular readers, Timothy Corrigan needs no introduction. Our behind-the-scenes look into a holiday dinner party at his French chateau years ago is still buzzed about; his springtime al fresco lunch gave us total landscaping envy; and his casually elegant Easter brunch gave us a first glimpse into Timothy’s West Coast home. Oh, and as unofficial president of the Timothy Corrigan fan club, I even went so far as to get married at his Loire Valley property last year… now that’s dedication.

I’ve always known that Timothy and I were kindred spirits, but today’s story makes it official. There’s no holiday that I love more than Valentine’s Day, and it turns out that our favorite francophile interior designer feels the same way. How’s he celebrating this year? The only way he knows: with close friends around a beautifully set formal dining table, his newly renovated Paris flat a most amorous setting. Ready for some jaw-dropping inspiration? Keep reading for Timothy’s mouth watering recipes and hard-to-believe interiors.

  1. I don’t think I’d be able to eat or drink in this place, it’s just too decadent!

Gorgeous! From the decor to the feast, everything is divine. I love the game idea- I think I’m going to use that one. Have a lovely Valentine’s Day.

You already had me with the Elixir de L’amour cocktail….off soon to the liquor store…dreaming, but what else can one expect from the once in a life time wedding of yours….sweet, and up there with out of reach, but not really….everybody can have these ideas on their bucket lists.

Uhmm…his home is BEAUTIFUL, and how can I get an invite to this party?! Haha. Also, love the idea of playing games at dinner parties – I’m a huge board game fanatic and love having something for guests to “do” that encourages connecting in ways other than small talk. <3

  6. I absolutely adore Timothy! I had the pleasure of meeting him last week in Vegas. He is the epitome of elegance in a most fabulously French way! We both share the passion for a things French, and hopefully soon can visit his lovely château!

Absolutely beautiful… now I am motivated to do my own Fête de L’amour. Joyeux saint-Valentin!
