Monochromatic Monday :: Anna Karenina

Anna Karenina Inspiration | Camille Styles

Have you guys seen the trailer for the new Anna Karenina movie, starring Kiera Knightley, that comes out next month? As a sucker for period dramas with gorgeous costumes and illicit love affairs, I’m counting the days… Wouldn’t it be fun to have a pre-movie dinner party before heading to the theater with a group of friends? I took my inspiration for this board from the trappings of Russian aristocracy – silks and furs to combat winter’s chill, tables lit with moody candlelight and, of course, chilled glasses of vodka with blinis and caviar. Are you guys excited for this film? I’m still hoping I have time to read the book beforehand, and with its nearly 1000 pages, I’d better get crackin’!
