Monochromatic Monday :: Waterfront Fourth

Fourth of July Inspiration | Camille Styles

Raise your hand if the Fourth of July is your favorite holiday (if you just raised your hand behind your computer, give yourself a gold star). Even though I have a mid-July birthday, there’s nothing I look forward to quite like Independence Day. And if you take the holiday as seriously as I do, chances are you make certain it’s spent at your favorite watering hole — in Austin, we’re all about the lakes, rivers and natural pools. While I’d love to share the locale of this year’s festivities, I’ve unfortunately been sworn to secrecy by my friend who discovered the top-secret spot… but here’s what I can tell you: it’s about a 30-minute drive outside of town with a huge grassy lawn and lake as far as the eye can see. But most importantly, food, drinks and dogs are allowed, so it’s sure to be a memorable day. I’d love to hear what you all have planned for Thursday, and be sure to check back in with us this week for more all-American inspiration!

    Beautiful inspiration! Makes me wish I was in Maine, chowing down on lobster rolls…

    Yes, raising my hand bc July 4th is my most favorite of holidays! And because I’m a mid-July baby too :) Pretty much, I love everything about this beautiful month.
