Preppy, glam, casual, sporty, rustic… classic American style is hard to put your finger on. It’s ever-changing, yet somehow the spirit of it remains the same throughout the decades. Looking back, names like Newman, Hutton and Kennedy come to mind. We had fun this week in the office arguing (ahem, discussing) what the term “All-American style” really means and who should make this list. There were a few obvious choices, but we hope that you’ll discover a few of our favorite up-and-comers through this post as well. We’re still not entirely sure how to define American style, but we know it when we see it — and we’re pretty sure it’s always had something to do with denim.
