Weekend Notes

Isn’t the weekend the most wonderful respite from the busyness of the workweek? Especially in the summertime: the days are supposed to be a little lazier and more about enjoyment, yet it’s often difficult to find time to kick back and have fun until Saturday rolls around. What do all of you have on the agenda today? I’m taking Phoebe to the splash pad, meeting my mom for a coffee, having a phone date with one of my out-of-town besties, and throwing something fresh and summery on the grill tonight (this is calling my name.) I’m headed to NYC on Wednesday for a couple days of book meetings (the countdown has begun for its October 28th release!) and while I’m looking forward to a little time in the city, it’s definitely making me want to lay low and savor a laid-back weekend. Hope you’re all soaking up some sunshine today, and enjoy my favorite links from the past week!
