Weekend Notes

Happy happy! So glad it’s the weekend, though it’s a little scary to think that we only have four more of them before summer’s over. Instead of letting it get me down, I’m using it as extra incentive to make the most of these slower-paced days with some quintessentially summer activities: dinners al fresco, afternoon ice cream and staying out way past my usual bedtime. Also: big congrats to Lauren on her sweet new bundle of joy! I paid a visit to 2-week-old Greta yesterday, and she is just perfection. We couldn’t be more thrilled for their family (though we miss Lauren terribly around the office during her maternity leave!) Hope you’re all having a lovely morning so far, and take some time to enjoy my favorite links from the week (below.) Oh, and if you find yourself feeling a bit down that the weekend’s coming to a close, never fear: tomorrow I’ll be sharing a few tips on how to actually look forward to Mondays!
