Weekend Notes

By Camille Styles

peonies, poppies & garden roses

Happy weekend, friends! You may have noticed that we got a bit of a makeover yesterday with the launch of our all new site design! We’ve been working on it over the last few months, so it’s really exciting to finally see it go live. Stay tuned for all the details on the new features and tools that we’ll be sharing with y’all tomorrow, and in the meantime, bear with us as we work out a few final kinks. Earlier tonight, Adam and I stole away for a little date night to (finally) catch the movie Chef, and I don’t think I’ve ever laughed, cried, and been so hungry all at once. It’s brimming with total eye candy for any of you fellow foodies, and I really couldn’t recommend its sweet story highly enough. Also, for all you Austinites, hope you’ll all come out and join me at this fun #TidbitsItGirl shindig at Neimans this Thursday evening. RSVP to get your name on the guest list! Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend, and as always, enjoy my favorite links from the past week!

Amazing finds at our friend & contributor Tara’s gorgeous new shop.

Fashion week may be over, but it’s never too late to learn how to pronounce these tricky designer names.

If you were a fashion blogger, what would your name be?

Thirty-five days until my book is released… don’t forget to preorder your copy!

For all you aspiring stylists, this great workshop is headed to Austin.

How to find the perfect foundation for your skin.

One works at Elle magazine, the other owns a restaurant. Can these two besties get any cooler?

I shared some thoughts on how to deal with disappointment.
