Excited to report that I’ve got my Halloween weekend all planned out: a few besties will be coming to town, and between a double feature movie night, a friend’s birthday, and the San Jose’s annual costume contest, we’ve got a packed schedule. Since I’m not hosting any creepy parties this year, I’m afraid I won’t get the chance to do any crafting before the 31st, so instead I thought I’d reflect on some of the best Halloween party ideas we’ve run here on the blog.

Some are spooky, some are playful, but they’re all easy enough to tackle on your own, and sure to delight guests at your All Hallow’s Eve bash.

Make and Decorate Your Own Sugar Skulls

Host a Wickedly Gorgeous Dinner Party with Wax-Dipped Roses at each place setting.

Deck the mantle with some Poison Bottle Flower Vase Printables.

Round up the squad to rock an epic Group Costume.

Mix up a tantalizing Poison Berry Smash.

Turn a drab black table linen into a spooky Haunted House.

Decorate Your Own Monster Cupcakes (then eat them!)

Deck out your front porch… in style.

Get all dressed up with your bestie (or your boo!)

Trick-or-treat yourself to these Pumpkin Date Caramel Cups.

Hand out Poison Ivy Favors to send your guests home with a scare.

Get inspired by your favorite film.

Do dinner with The Addams Family.

Serve up a scary appetizer like these Cheese Witch Fingers.

Make creepy “The Birds” Shadow Puppets and add a fear factor to all your photos.
