Since the launch of our Entertaining With series (almost three years ago!), we’ve showcased everything from a hearty supper in the Virginia countryside to a stunning summer lunch on a Manhattan rooftop. All of these entertaining extraordinaires bring something uniquely their own to their gatherings, and there’s certainly something extraordinary about everything that today’s hostess touches. Besides serving as editor-in-chief of This Is Glamorous, Roséline Lohr is the founder of Belgrave Crescent, a line of luxury leather goods that we’re all dying over. Turns out that her entertaining style is as elegant and ethereal as every image on her beloved blog, and today, she’s turning up the femininity full force as she invites us into her Edinburgh flat for a seafood feast. Click through to see all of the gorgeous details for this gathering!

Taste I’m always craving:

Chocolate.

The Balmoral Hotel, one of my favourite buildings in the city centre–whether shadowed by clouds or bathed in golden light, it is always perfectly ornate and filled with such romance.

Always in my refrigerator:

Coconut water & fresh raspberries.

The gilded mirror above the drinks console was a stunning find at an antiques fair in a tiny town outside of the city, on Father’s Day a few years ago; the large footed sterling silver tray was a birthday gift from P., from another favorite antiques shop on Dundas Street.

Standard host / hostess outfit:

Sometimes you might find me in heels & skinny jeans, but most often, it will be a lacy party dress or something a little sexy.

Entertaining rule I rarely break:

Spend a little time speaking with each guest, and of course, in the words of C.Z. Guest, “The most important thing is to enjoy yourself and have a good time.”

Entertaining style in 5 words or less:

casual, elegant, warm, memorable.

I have been collecting hand-painted and mismatched bone china from antique shops around the world for a while now, and every time we move and they are shipped, am always afraid they will arrive in a million pieces. But so far, not a single cup or gold-rimmed saucer has been broken. Together, they make an instant dinner party, and are a lovely reminder of the places we’ve been.

What scares you about entertaining:

Running out of champagne. All kidding aside, there is a quote from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby that I always loved: “In his blue gardens men and girls came and went like moths among the whisperings and the champagne and the stars.”

We were having tea in this tiny, most charming antiques shop I had once read about in Vogue, and after the rose petal tea, the scones and apricot jam, I spotted the palest pink soup tureen, trimmed in gold, which also happens to be perfect for serving mussels.

Get the recipe for Classic Moules Marinieres with Pommes Frites.

Signature entertaining dish:

Crab Bruschetta.

Current favorite color palette for parties:

Since it’s spring, mostly white and gold, with pale pinks and the robin’s egg blue of my favorite china.

Dream dinner guests:

Claude Monet, Grace Coddington, F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Must-have entertaining tool:

Candlelight.

Restaurant meal I’ll never forget:

We’ve been very fortunate to have tasted many spectacular meals, but the one I am remembering at the moment is the Tartare de Filet de Boeuf (steak tartatre) at the Mini Palais in Paris.

Also remember really enjoying our meal at The Pompadour by Galvin in Edinburgh, although I don’t remember what we ordered, because the décor is just so, so lovely.

The perfect dinner party playlist includes:

Anything from the Late Night Tales series.
