Found! Healthy Versions of Your Favorite Junk Food Snacks

These snacks are calling your name.

By Rachelle Shuttlesworth

Does anyone else have memories from middle school of hanging on the couch with your best friends, chowing down on Cheez-its, M&M’s, or whatever other junky snacks you could find in the pantry?

It’s safe to say that my snacking habits have advanced since I was 12. And while I certainly don’t want to eat the same snacks I used to (let’s be real, those Cool Ranch Doritos have no redeeming qualities), I still love a good treat to tide me over until dinnertime or to enjoy while I watch my favorite show in the evening.

For those times when I need to satisfy those old school snacking cravings, I’ve found some healthier versions of junk food faves that do the trick, without putting me in a food coma. All are good, some are actually amazing. Scroll on for a few healthier snack options that are worthy of your Big Little Lies binge.

Enjoy!
