    http://www.gwydircastle.co.uk/ is my personal favorite. It’s pretty amazing. The gardens, the peacocks hanging out in the trees, the furniture; it all adds up to a brilliant experience.

    (Also, really, built 1951.. why is it on the list?)

    I’m staying at Lough Eske in Ireland next month and can’t wait! There are SO many castles you can stay at in Ireland. Adare manor is another gorgeous one not listed above.
