Oh, What a Night!

One month ago, we celebrated the official release of my book in New York City at West Elm, and it was one of those magical nights that will always make me a little giddy just remembering it. The energy of the city, the readers who came out from all over NYC and beyond to celebrate, and the special touches that Ella, Andrea, and the rest of the West Elm team worked so hard to bring to life… after working on Camille Styles Entertaining for two years, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to finally share it with the world! And I’m so glad that my friend Annabel from Belathee Photography was on hand to capture all the magic — click through for all my favorite moments (and don’t forget to check out the tour page for upcoming events… we’re squeezing in a couple more before Christmas!)

There was something that felt so perfect about being in New York on the day of my book launch! All day as I ran around Manhattan, meeting up with friends and shopping for a dress to wear that night, I soaked up the energy of the city and the excitement of knowing the book was hitting shelves that day. And of course, the party that night was the icing on the cake.

The amazing West Elm team created a “build your own bouquet” station with buckets full of the most gorgeous seasonal flowers. Guests loved being able to get creative with their arrangements, and everyone left the party with their own little bunch of blooms to display at home.

A little surreal to see my face on a sign. 🙂

Loved these stylish party guests…

At the signing table.

Seeing guests walking around with a book tucked under their arm for the first time was definitely a “pinch me!” moment.

Ranunculus, berries, mums, roses, and some of the prettiest dahlias I’ve ever laid eyes on at the “build your own bouquet” station.

Chanel has a reunion with our former intern Kelly.

Obsessed with these Gilded Dapper Animal Plates.

Caterer Michael Stuart made the most delicious (and pretty) bites to satisfy hungry party guests.

My friend Jake manages social media & digital content for West Elm… and my other lovely friend Katie writes the blog Meyers Styles.

Remember when The Brinsons showed us how they entertain at home? Loved getting to catch up with them.

One guest’s gorgeous party favor.

The lovely Andrea, who is on the West Elm team and was a huge part of making this party happen so beautifully.

Our Instagram-worthy napkins.

Ella is a woman of many talents — marketing manager at West Elm by day, floral designer extraordinaire by night (at least, on this particular night.)

DJ Colleen Crumbcake of Sugartown Industries rocked the house.

Cute girls at the party…

And this furry guest stole the show!

Always get a little thrill seeing people crack open the pages of the book for the very first time.

Ella & Andrea have some fun as the very last flowers leave with the night’s final guests.

Chanel came along with me to NYC to celebrate!

And of course, couldn’t have done it without the endless support of my partner-in-crime and love of my life, Adam.
