Isn’t it funny how one season, a certain look can hold zero appeal…then the next it suddenly feels so right? (I can remember thinking that I’d never be caught dead in skinny jeans – ha!) Chanel and I were recently discussing how we once thought we’d never wear polka dots, and now they seem to be, quite literally, popping up all over our outfits, accessories and even home décor. While pulling my favorite spotted images together to create today’s board, I realized that I tend to steer my polka dots towards an unexpected, not-too-sweet color palette that helps them feel a bit more grown-up. I’m dying to come up with an excuse to throw a spring soirée that uses spots as the element that ties it all together… now if I can just find a way to get my hands on that stunning spotted gown (top right) for the night. Isn’t it a dream?!
