VOLUME 06 | CAMILLE STYLES EDIT

THE CLARITY ISSUE

Letter from the Editor

A few weeks ago, I was standing in my kitchen at 7 am, answering a work email while simultaneously packing lunches and mentally rehearsing a conversation I needed to have later that day. I wasn’t doing any of it well. At some point, I looked up and realized my son, Henry, had been talking to me (no idea for how long), and I hadn’t heard a word.

That moment became the seed of this issue. Because as much as I love spring’s invitation to refresh everything, I’m also resisting the pressure to add more—more goals, more habits, more projects. What I’m craving is simplicity: a clearing away that allows me to hear my inner voice above the noise.

That’s what the Clarity Issue is all about. It’s not a productivity hack or a spring challenge to makeover your life. It’s an invitation to edit—to clear the clutter (mental, physical, digital) so that what actually matters has space to breathe and grow.

I can’t think of a more perfect guide for this conversation than our cover star, Adriene Mishler. You probably know her from Yoga With Adriene, where her community of millions finds their way back to their bodies and breath. But what struck me most in our conversation was how she talks about clarity not as something you achieve, but something you return to. Again and again. On the mat and off.

Lots of love, Camille
