Let’s talk eyewear. Finding the right pair of sunglasses can be a serious struggle, especially if you’re one of those women who needs prescription lenses, i.e. me… I feel your pain! Whether it’s the dilemma of finding the right pair for my face structure or the right color that won’t clash with my wardrobe, the whole process feels about as daunting as finding the perfect pair of jeans. Not only can a new pair of sunnies be expensive, there are so many enticing options out there that it’s easy to get shopping paralysis. This summer I made it my mission to not let buyer’s fear stop me from rocking a new pair of eye candy. From thrifty to indulgent, I’ve found the twenty best shades of the season.

I also have prescription glasses and you are right, that can be a pain! I am getting ready to try out some clip ons… have you ever had any? I will let you know how it goes. 🙂

Let me know the verdict on the clip-ons! I’ve always wanted the “Dwayne Wayne” clip-on sunglasses, I’m glad they’re back in style 🙂

Oooh, I love them all! I have a sunglasses addiction, so this post feeds right into my obsession! Speaking of clip-ons: I had a pair of Calvin Klein glasses that came with clip-ons and they’re the best thing ever! Much preferable to buying prescription sunglasses and I think they look tres chic.

I can completely relate! I have found though, that the $15 glasses are sometimes the ones for the win, especially, as you said, if you want to coordinate the glasses with outfits, switch it up or even as a go-to. I personally like the fact that you had funky, colourful glasses: my faves were the red Tom Fords, the red aviators, and the Black Betty glasses. I do think they take a certain kind of attitude to rock them because they are capable of overpowering the wearer

You are so right… If I need my sunglasses to coordinate with certain outfits, getting a nice pair that’s affordable helps balance out the cost of putting in prescription lenses.

And I’m sure you could rock a sweet red pair of shades! Carpe diem!
