One of the best things about our new office is its proximity to so many great fitness studios. From barre, to spin, to the Hike & Bike Trail, we each have our favorite place to tuck away for a mid-day workout. The only problem? Returning to the office sweaty… especially since you never know when you’ll be asked to jump into a photo around here. So, we partnered with Botanics‘ to stock our powder room with everything we’d ever need to hit refresh in the middle of the work day, and with the help of its incredible line of skincare products, I’d say our setup could rival that of even the most exclusive spa in town.

Since our small bathroom doesn’t have any built-in storage, we needed a cabinet that was spacious enough for our belongings, yet not too oversized for the space. This glass front cabinet was the obvious winner, and since it’s under 5 feet tall, we can arrange decorative items along its top, too.

No bathroom is complete without an arsenal of hair tools, so we devoted one of our four woven baskets to storing a hair dryer, flat iron and curling iron.

When it comes to makeup, we all have different needs, but having a few universal favorites in stock never hurts. Some neutral concealers, a couple fun blush shades, and brushes in every shape and size mean that we can all get camera-ready in a flash. For those mornings when a little more help is needed to make us look bright eyed, we reach for a combo of Botanics’ All Bright Eye Roll-On and Triple Age Renewal Hydrating Eye Serum to ensure we’ll look rested and ready for the camera.

Of course, the first step in any beauty routine is getting that mug squeaky clean. Whether we’re post-workout or pre-photo shoot, we all love starting our routine with Botanics’ gentle Organic Softening Cleanser  to give our skin a fresh canvas, followed by Organic Toning Spritz, which is perfect to prep skin before applying makeup.

Atop an acrylic tray, we filled glass apothecary canisters with cotton rounds and q-tips, and arranged them alongside a bottle of subtle perfume. And it goes without saying, fresh flowers are always the best way to brighten up a space.

Have you guys ever tried a hot cloth cleanser? We all swear by this one from Botanics, which is truly like a mini-facial.  The ritual itself is super soothing – first you apply the balm to dry skin and then, after running a washcloth under warm water, apply it gently to your face to rub the balm off.  The process leaves your skins thoroughly cleansed and deeply clean.  Follow it up with the Organic Day Cream which is like a drink of moisture for your skin.

We filled an acrylic caddy with all those everyday bathroom essentials that get the most use. Spray deodorant, dry shampoo, bobby pins, hair ties, tampons, face wipes and a hair brush all have a happy home with this organizational solution.

The acrylic caddy slips seamlessly into a woven basket…

… where it can be pulled out for easy access at any time.

If there’s one beauty product I can’t live without, it’s face wipes. Infused with hibiscus to tone my skin, the All Bright Facial Wipes from Botanics are some of the best I’ve ever used. They leave my skin with such a nice glow. They’re always the first thing I reach for when I come back from a mid-day work out.

On this day in particular, Carmen and I both came back to the studio after a lunchtime barre class. Not surprisingly, we were in dire need of a pick-me up.

Carmen went for the hot cloth cleanser, while I hit reset with a facial wipe. It was so lovely to have everything needed on hand to dive back in to the workday feeling rejuvenated.

Special thanks to Botanics (which is available at our fave, Target) for helping us stock the powder room of our dreams! It’s these little luxuries that make us love working at the #CSBungalow every day!

Gorgeous space, and intriguing products! Question — where are the lovely woven baskets and acrylic accessories from?

Love these items! I’ve used a lot of them in my own ensuite bath to give it a touch of simple elegance.

How many people work in this office? Are you really sharing makeup brushes and roll on’s?

Haha, good point! We are basically five best friends, so in a pinch – yeah. But you are right that we should probably have a stringent brush cleaning policy! 😉
