Weddings have long been my favorite excuse to buy something fabulous to wear. These days I’m having more fun than ever — with the rise of destination ceremonies I can now take inspiration from the place as well as the occasion. Trust me when I say that dressing “on theme” will totally make the bride’s day — she chose the destination for a reason, and dressing the part is an easy way you can contribute to her vision (while having a little bit of fun yourself.) There’s a fine but very important line between being on theme and in costume, and no one walks it better than our friends at ModCloth. Our favorite online shop for modern retro-inspired feminine dresses has recently upped their game big time: they’ve now got shoes, jewelry, handbags, and even fun tech gadgets all at incredibly awesome price points. (Can you believe that chic black bag on our Paris board is under $60? We won’t tell if you won’t…)  We partnered with them to create three destination-inspired guest of the wedding outfits (#GOTWO, anyone?) that have us excited to book some flights.
