DIY Troop Beverly Hills Mom and Me Costume

We love October because it’s one of the most creative times of the year here at Camille Styles — from all black tabletops to monster DIY projects, we aren’t afraid to dive headfirst into the scary! Our DIY costume ideas are always a highlight of the season for our team, and this year we were dead set on taking our wardrobe to the next level. We knew it would be hard to top last year’s group costume ideas, but we just may have done it with a little inspiration from the video store. Read on to discover this year’s fun costume ideas inspired by a few of our most worn out DVDs.

We don’t need no stinkin’ patches! Camille and Phoebe are stepping out in the style this year as Troop Beverly Hills.

Check out the full DIY here to see how we made this glam cape.

This cute mom-and-me DIY costume is a sure-fire WIN.

Marnie and Kristen slayed it this year as Romy and Michele!

We are obsessed with how this from-scratch DIY project turned out… click here to see the full DIY!

Oh, and don’t forget the post-its!

We fell in love with Taylor and Dagny this year as Romeo + Juliet.

This is one couple’s costume idea that is a lot easier than it looks. Check out the full DIY here.

AIR RAID! Team CS is ready to haze you into submission as the Senior girls from Dazed and Confused.

This group costume is so easy and fun… but it might be our best yet!

The senior girls one kills me! I’m from Huntsville (where D&C is based) and the Freshman/Senior hazing and party has always been a massive town tradition. I still have my homemade shirt from my days, maybe that’s my costume this year. 🙂

That’s so great, Sarah. My mom is from Huntsville and she tells me the same thing. My grandmother still lives there so I’ve spent quite a bit of time there over the years. Fun to connect with a Huntsville reader. Go Hornets!

Troop Beverly Hills! So much Yes! I wish I had a daughter so I could do that this year! Great suggestions!

Hard for me to say which one was my favorite! Since I am from Huntsville, I will choose the
Senior Girls…wow, that brought back some memories! So fun!!!!!

  6. Misty says:

Oh I love Romy and Michele!

You absolutely have to look at @laurenmancke and her Instagram account showing 31 days of epic pop culture costumes for her baby twins. Seriously so worth it.

Could you give me some guidance on getting together Phyllis Nefler‘s costume? I’ve got a hat a wig and a green sash. I’ve got my heart set on a cape and those excellent pants, but haven’t an idea where to start
