I’m really feeling the no-makeup makeup look these days — a natural, easygoing routine feels so right this season and fits my current schedule of going straight from working out -> work -> lunch with a friend -> preschool pickup. Of course, a prereq to pulling off this look is healthy, glowing skin, so I’ve been paying extra attention to sticking with a really solid skincare routine. I’ve been in love with NUDE Skincare’s natural products for several months now, especially the new Detox Gentle Brightening Fizzy Powder Wash, so I couldn’t be more excited that we’re getting to work with them this year as a partner on the site. Packed with minerals and antioxidants, this is skincare that represents everything I believe in and really works, so I invited our team for a little spa-inspired party and brunch to try it all out. Click through for the glow-inducing menu we made together, see the skincare products we used, and get inspired to throw a Get Glowing brunch of your own (just in time for spring!)
I love the vision behind NUDE Skincare, taking an innovative approach to skincare “nutrition.” Just think about it — since nutrition is as essential for our skin as it is for our body, why not put ingredients on our skin that we know our bodies need? The products contain a balanced diet of omegas, minerals, probiotics and antioxidants resulting in healthy, luminous skin.
To celebrate Friday (#FriYAY!) the team and I took the morning off for our “Get Glowing” brunch, treating ourselves to detoxifying facials before moving into the kitchen to make healthy superfood-packed spring rolls.
Thorough cleansing is the first step for any facial, so we all started here. Since I am a huge fan of exfoliation, I’m pretty obsessed with the new Detox Gentle Brightening Fizzy Powder Wash: a powder-to-foam treatment that brightens with gentle enzymes and vitamin C, and isn’t too rough for delicate skin.
Next we applied masks, because — it’s a spa party! Over the past couple of years, it’s become increasingly important to me to know the ingredients that I’m putting on my skin, and I love how thoughtfully NUDE sources it’s plant-based ingredients that are also so nurturing and effective.
Cucumbers on the eyes and lots of laughter. We’ll be sharing more of the silliness on Instagram with the #brunchwithNUDE hashtag.
Superfood time! It’s no secret that what you put in your body is as important for glowing skin as what you put on it. I try to pack in plenty of colorful veggies and omega-rich foods like salmon and avocado on a daily basis, but these build-your own spring rolls were brimming with so much of them that it felt like a major dose of goodness for our skin.
I’d actually never tried making spring rolls, and I was shocked at how easy the process was! After softening the rice paper wrappers in warm water, it was as simple as piling on the toppings of choice and rolling it up like a burrito.

Many of the nourishing ingredients that we ate in our lunch — like coconut, lemon, and lime — also happen to be the main ingredients in the Detox Gentle Brightening Fizzy Powder Wash. See what I mean by nourishing on the inside and the outside?
I sat the marble table in our team room with a big platter of antioxidant-packed tropical fruit and a pretty bunch of peonies for the simplest brunch table setting that felt feminine and fresh.
When we’d finished making spring rolls in the kitchen, I mounded them onto a platter, garnished with peanuts and lots of fresh herbs, and carried them to the table.
Since nothing makes skin glow like a mega dose of vitamins, I poured fresh-squeezed fruit juices: clementine, beet, and spicy greens.
Trust me on this one: taking time out of your schedule for a little pampering party with your favorite girlfriends is a major DO. We left the day feeling relaxed, healthy, and gorgeous!
In our next skincare post, I’ll be sharing the ways I keep my skin glowing on a day-to-day basis — including a new soon-to-launch NUDE product that I had the chance to test out early — it’s already become a must-have in my bathroom.
