It’s that time of year when the holidays are creeping up so close you either find yourself belting Christmas Carols and whipping out jazz hands at any moment’s notice, or you’re gearing up to run for the hills with your earplugs and padlock to hibernate till January. Either way, apple cider and bourbon are one cool weather combo that you can always count on when looking for some fun company on a crisp fall day, or some liquid courage before your next big family gathering over the holidays.

This bourbon apple cider punch infused with honey-thyme simple syrup is so easy to make, and has become my ultimate goto when having friends over for a cozy happy hour by the fireplace, or when I need a festive fall pick me up because it’s 85 degrees mid-November, and my sweater weather FOMO is peaking. It honestly tastes like fall in a glass, which, based on my PSL intake thus far, I just can’t seem to ever get enough of.

Cheers to the most woooonderful time of the year! (jazz hands…)

These were delicious. Served them for a friendsgiving and will be making them again on thanksgiving. We skipped the club soda.
