2 ounces bourbon
1/2 ounce maple syrup
3 dashes angostura bitters
1 cinnamon stick
orange peel and 4 cloves for garnish
Combine bourbon, maple syrup, and bitters in a highball glass, using the cinnamon stick to stir until syrup has completely dissolved. Add large ice cube and continue to stir until chilled (at least 30 seconds). Take orange peel studded with cloves and gently twist the peel to express oils. Run peel around the rim of the glass and use as a garnish with the cinnamon stick.
