DIY Rose + Sage Smudge Sticks

This year’s Mother’s Day celebration was all about creating a relaxing experience through aromatics. I created a custom gift basket complete with instructions for an aromatic ritual, which began with burning a rose and sage smudge stick that we made ourselves. This little DIY couldn’t be easier, and makes a great gift for moms, bridesmaids, birthday girls, you name it. Scroll down to see how I made our mini rose and sage smudge sticks:

    What a nice mothers day gift I plan on doing this with my girlfriends to celebrate us moms!!! Off topic, your beach inspired bedroom…what color are the curtains and what size picture above the bed and any info on where the frame was purchased would be great!!! I am almost finished re creating our bedroom You’ve made it wonderfully easy!!! Thank you for your great style!

    How do the roses burn if they are not dried? I feel like this wouldn’t work. In the image from the other post it is never actually shown lit….

      Hi Meg! They did burn for us, but very very slowly. I think if they were dried they would flame up and burn too fast.
