8 Festival Looks We’re Stealing For Our Summer Wardrobes

No flower crowns here.

A constant stream of festival goers decked out in their #festyready outfits have appeared on our social media feeds the past couple weeks, as everyone from Victoria’s Secret models to Snoop Dog and every blogger in-between flocked to Coachella, Stagecoach, and Revolve Festival to let loose and add some extra spice to their every day looks. Although we didn’t have a front row seat to California’s most anticipated spring fashion event, we were able to catch it all on Instagram, and have spent the past few weeks studying the gals with the freshest outfit inspo.

Taking note from the spring/summer 2019 trends, the western aesthetic came out on top as sneakers and sandals were ditched for cowboy and combat boots. We noticed the boot being used to toughen up feminine day dresses, or add an extra attitude to an otherwise understated outfit. Some even unleashed their inner Dolly Parton by adding a cowboy hat, chunky jewels, and a western style belt. Those who mastered the understated look did so by dancing out their festival days in all white (or all black) everything, dainty jewels, and killer shades.

Luckily, over the last few years, we’ve seen festival style take a move in the right direction, a.k.a. away from flower crowns, denim underwear, and barely-there crop tops.

From head-to-toe tie-dye to neutral two-piece sets, we can actually see ourselves wearing a lot of the looks from this year well past Coachella Weekend 2.

Here’s some ways to master the ‘ready for anything’ cool girl look this summer, inspired by the outfits from our favorite festival stylemakers this season. You won’t see one festival outfit here that appears to be overdone, over the top, or overplayed. And that’s just the way we like it.

We’re loving this floral mini with a pair of black lace-up combat boots for any outdoor concert or activity where you’re guaranteed to get those steps in. Pair it with a small leather back pack, and you’re ready to groove all night –(look ma, no hands!)

Sheer, flowy whites are always a good choice when looking to make your bathing suit / sports bra ensemble look a little more put together. Add some dainty gold jewelry and a trendy crossbody, and you’re ready to go from day to night.

hailey beiber coachella, jeans, vans

Hailey Bieber | @haileybieber

Nothing says summer like a classic pair of Levi’s denim, a lace bustier or bodysuit, and sneakers. Dress it up with statement jewelry or a western-style belt, a la Hailey at the Levi’s Coachella party.
