Years ago, I read an interview with the radiant Sofia Vergara, where she expressed that if she could go back in time and change one thing, she’d have started applying sunscreen and anti-aging products to her neck and chest from a young age. If you ask me, Sofia is doing just fine, serving up major goals through her late-40’s, but that did get me thinking about what I’m doing to moisturize and maintain my own décolletage. The answer? Probably not as much as I should be.
Given that this area of our bodies tends to be exposed to the elements as much as our faces, it’s a mystery so many of us leave it as an afterthought.
And it’s often not until much later, after years of neglect, that we begin to scramble for pricey prescription solutions or even surgical options at the first sight of crepey skin. Woof. Fortunately until then, the answer is simple — protect. and. hydrate.
