I’m Addicted to This Skin Mattifyer, A Book on Clarity, and More

By Camille Styles

Morning y’all! I’m back with our second installment of I’m Addicted to in which I share everything I’m loving this week. Today’s picks definitely slant wellness-y because (a) January, and (b) hello, it’s me. Keep scrolling, and be sure to watch my Instagram stories tomorrow where I’ll be showing each of these crave-worthy items in action!

Sunday Riley Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner

This stuff is called “Martian” for a reason: its crazy green hue and far-out claims to minimize pores and keep skin matte all day seem out-of-this-world. However, it quickly became a morning staple for me: I apply it after cleansing, and it immediately creates a pore-less, matte, smooth surface before I apply makeup. If you tend to get shiny during the day like I do, this is a game-changer.

The Clarity Cleanse: 12 Steps to Finding Renewed Energy, Spiritual Fulfillment, and Emotional Healing, by Habib Sadeghi

We hear a lot about the “mind-body connection,” but Sadeghi goes a step further in his fascinating book to explore how negative emotions actually do damage on the cellular level. He talks about clarity as the way to clean up our inner lives so that we can move beyond doubt, fear, and anything else that’s holding us back, and provides 12 steps to achieve our healthiest, most energized selves. “Clarity is what allows us to take from any experience the lessons we can use—those elements that help us learn, grow, and expand our consciousness.” Also, he’s the spiritual advisor to Gwyneth, and I’ll have what she’s having.

At-Home Body Cupping System

Just in case y’all thought I wasn’t woo-woo enough this week, behold my new at-home cupping system! Stay with me here people, because up until a few months ago, I thought cupping was a total joke. That is, until I had it performed on me by a massage therapist with a truly deep (pun intended) understanding of fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds each organ and muscle of our body. She also recommended these at-home cups so that we could keep it up on a regular basis, and a couple nights a week I’ve been forcing inviting Adam to engage in cupping sessions. Is there a way to say that without sounding so dirty? Anyway, keep an eye on my Instagram stories today and I’ll show you guys how to use these.

Leave a comment with any new stuff you’re currently crushing on – I’d love to hear!
