My Favorite Austin Beauty Spots

March 13th, 2015

Best Austin Beauty Spots // Estée Lauder + Camille StylesIf you haven’t noticed by my constant gushing, I LOVE living in Austin. It’s such a unique mash-up of funky beloved “institutions” that have been around for ages and hip of-the-moment spots that are opening faster than I can keep up with them… and the beauty scene is certainly no exception. I obviously have my little black book of favorite spots that keep me feeling my best, so I couldn’t have been more thrilled when the Estée Lauder team invited me to put together an insider guide to Austin beauty for their blog, The Estée Edit. It’s such a treat to get to collaborate with a brand that I’ve loved and used for so many years, and if you haven’t checked it out already, the blog is really fantastic — modern, chic and creative, brimming with inspiration for living your most beautiful life.

For my Austin guide, I spent a day hopping around to some of my favorite beauty and wellness spots in town — mainly in the downtown area to make things more convenient for all the SXSW goers that just descended on the city. Head over to The Estée Edit to get the scoop, and keep reading for a few outtakes from the day, all taken by the fab Jessica Pages. (by the way, that lipstick in the photos is my current fave: Pure Color Envy in tumultuous pink. It wakes up my entire face and literally lasts all day.)

Hi Camille! I know this is an older post, but I read it a long time ago. I was trying to refer to it, as I am currently looking for a salon to highlight my hair in Austin. It looks like Estee Lauder is no longer hosting the collaboration that you did with them. Any chance you can share the names of the salons that you mentioned/ who you use now?
